Peacock Joinery Ltd can design and construct your roof lanterns.
We can supply a kit form lantern with all components needed for self-assembly, this would include all timber parts pre-cut with drilled fixing holes.
The glazing system would also be pre-fitted in our workshop, with the double glazed units dry fitted to ensure ease of sit fitting.
Alternatively we can fit the whole lantern to your roof, whether you have an existing lantern or not, we can cut a hole in your roof, carry out all the necessary structural support work and making good as required.
The glazing system comprises of a gasket strip fitted to the rafters with aluminium capping system fitted over the glass, these capping components can be supplied powder coated to any RAL colour.
The double glazed units could be any configuration of glass, including solar blue uv glass.
Electrically operated roof vents could be incorporated in the design.
A decorative internal down-stand could also be supplied as a finishing detail to cover roof supporting beams etc.
