We provide detailed drawings to show you exactly how the kitchen will look, we would go through all of the options for the doors, framework, units, worktops etc.
Peacock Joinery work with local suppliers of kitchen appliances to complement your kitchen such as cookers, dishwashers, sinks and taps etc. and can offer these at very competitive prices.
We also work closely with local companies who offer a huge choice of natural and manmade stone work tops and up-stands which are made individually to suit each kitchen.
As an alternative to stone worktops, Timber worktops can be offered and finished with a sealer to prolong the life of the timber, Maple, beech, oak are a few of the timbers that work well. Again a choice of both types work very well.
Peacock Joinery pride ourselves on attention to detail and will talk through with you every detail and option available, our solid timber drawers are purpose made and can be supplied with internal dividers, positioned to suit your exact requirements. We also offer other modern details, such as magic corners, pop-up power sockets, pull out larders.
Whilst offering the modern touch our main target is to provide a beautiful traditional handmade period kitchen, normally these kitchens are then hand painted but can also be made with a variety of timbers which can be waxed or lacquered to show the beauty of the wood at it’s best. A mix of painted and natural finish can also work within the kitchen, even a small amount of natural timber will work.
There are various options for the carcasses, these can be ‘pre made’ melamine units, which would be brought in from a trusted supplier and then fitted with a fascia of framing and doors, which gives a very economical way of achieving a handmade kitchen, these units although generally supplied in set sizes can be adapted to suit and space available.
Generally our carcass are made using solid pine ‘block’ sheets, this gives a solid, natural feel to the kitchen, these can then be lacquered or painted. Internal adjustable shelves are also supplied.
Not only can we design and manufacture your kitchen we can fit it, not only that we can carry out all the work involved in your project, this would include:
- stripping out of the old kitchen
- any building alterations
- doorway / window openings formed and or blocked up
- plastering
- electrics
- plumbing
- tiling and then final decorating
All this carried out by our team of highly experienced fitters who are trustworthy, friendly and courteous.
